After being selected as the GRAND PRIZE WINNER of Ultimate Ears Worldwide Contest for her video cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “Further on Up the Road”, Leslie has spent time co-writing with legendaryGRAMMY AWARD WINNING SONGWRITER, Pam Sheyne(Christina Aguilera’s Genie in a Bottle). Leslie has also been self-producing new original demo songs for which she is performing all production, vocals, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, slide guitar, harmonica, keys and some percussion while also being joined by legendary 5 TIME GRAMMY AWARD WINNING bass guitar player, Bakithi Kumalo (Paul Simon – Graceland…) and ACM DRUMMER OF THE YEAR AWARD WINNER, Fred Eltringham (Sheryl Crow, Willie Nelson, Miranda Lambert…). She is co-writing lyrics with JUNO AWARD NOMINEE, Camille Henderson (Sarah McLachlan, Jann Arden…). Leslie also recently produced her own take on the classic Christmas song, “Jingle Bells”, for which she arranged, produced and performed all vocals and music while also self-producing a music video for this song which features Leslie in 7 on-camera roles…yes, even the dancing reindeer!!
